• Production figures will always vary depending on the type, diameter, and length of wood you are cutting, what cuts you are making (1”, 2” etc) and how dirty the wood is that you are trying to cut. This makes it very difficult for any mobile sawmill manufacturer to supply really solid production stats because they will always be variable depending on several conditions, such as the length and diameter of logs you are using and the size of board you are producing.

• Our contractor averaged 2000 board feet per hour in a time frame of 40 days producing dimensional lumber and cants.

• Production statistics for the current model being manufactured are expected to be higher due to streamlined waste removal system and increased horse power and torque to the main saws.

The original Twin Cut Mobile Automated Sawmill:

• In a 7 week period, cutting mostly poplar and aspen, with some spruce with an average diameter of 9-10” and average length of 12’, cutting 2” boards, our contractor was able to produce approximately 600,000 board feet.

• Saw sharpening, taking only 5 minutes, occurred roughly every 3 hours.

• During this time the minimum daily shift production was 13,000 board feet with the maximum averaging around 19,000 board feet.

• This was the first time the mill was operated by this operator and the edger option was not used.

• Maintenance only required the changing of a few hoses.

• The diesel engine ran efficiently, averaging about 120 litres in a 10 hour shift.
