- The mill is powered by a 173 hp John Deere (4045) diesel engine.
- The entire mill uses hydraulic power (Sauer Danfoss), which is low maintenance, quiet and economical.

| LOG DECK & LOADER |
|
| |
- On the 8’ live log deck, logs are fed into the mill by a four strand transfer chain that laterally move logs to the log loader.
- These chains are reversible and the log deck itself folds for portability.
- The log loader, comprised of five arms coupled on a tube and positioned in line with each bunk, singulates logs to the log bunk.

| LOG CARRIER |

- The log carrier has five bunks and five head blocks.
- Each head block has a top and bottom dog (log securing device).
- The head blocks move laterally to accommodate the log diameter and are computer controlled for set accuracy in relation to the saw line.
- The four log turners have chains and lugs that rotate and position the log.

- The 8’ long outfeed deck is comprised of 3 roof top chains and slides to accommodate the lumber piler.

- The entire mill is run from a quiet, climate controlled enclosed cab.
- The fully automated system is very easy to use and guarantees accurate measurements and control.
- Using the SetWorks software from Javelin Technical Solutions, the mill is programmable to satisfy any dimension.

| SAWMILL HEAD RIG |
|
| |
- The head saw has two 26” circular saws with 16 teeth, creating a 5/16” kerf.
- The saws are positioned one above the other.
- The lower saw cuts down through the log while the top saw cuts up.
- At the end of the cut the saws change position by rotating.
- This sets them up to cut in the opposite direction as they return back to the starting position.

- Measures 10’6” wide, 49’2“ long, 12‘1/4” high, and 24,500 lbs.
- The mill is North American highway legal although permits may be required in some jurisdictions.
